Case studies
Five fictional engagements
Five fictional engagements, each followed from the first conversation through a production decision or a deliberate stop.
These are practice only. They are not real clients, and studying them is not a placement. Say "I studied this fictional engagement." Do not invent a customer or a metric. The rules are on the portfolio policy page.
The five cases
- Harbor Lane Clinic. A regional clinic inbox that drafts hours and reschedule replies, never sends them, and never reads billing.
- Keel and Bin Parts. A parts warehouse where the nightly export is not the live stock count.
- Mill City Permits. A permits desk that answers from a named list of pages and refuses anything outside it, including pay.
- Ridge Route Field. A field-service pilot whose only offered login is an admin account, so the write tool stays off.
- Lumen Desk. A support desk that keeps a parallel run after a green health check, and writes a five-line incident note when the new path is wrong.
Northline is the lab
Northline Orders is the lab shop the six weeks build on. It is separate from these five. The cases are stories to read beside the weeks, not extra lab checks.
